The Oak House Studio June Challenge

The Oak House Studio June Challenge ...
Entry Number 2

For my second entry in this month's challenge I thought I would try something new.

I am a complete novice at pyrography and this is the very first time I have attempted it, so I thought to start with I would try a coaster.

Apart from the stamp from The Oak House Studio range, I used Spectrum Noir pens for the colour and another of the tips that came with the iron.

Thank you for looking

Oak House Studio

This is my first entry into The Oak House Studio June Challenge.

Firstly I started with a selection of blue inks, a A5 scallop edged card,a blank piece of paper and the Large floral stamp from  The Oak House Studio Range.

At this point I wasn't sure where I was going with this ...

With a few spots of ink on a pad I randomly inked the paper

Then stamped on to a piece of acetate that I had also randomly applied the inks to as well

I then added blue Perfect Pearls over the stamped image....

At this stage I am thinking is this just too much blue ??
Layered the cut down inked and stamped pieces and put onto the card

Stamped The English Summer Verse onto a piece of card using Archival black, inked the edges and applied to card. Then using 2 different butterfly stamps, stamped and cut out the images and applied to the card. Coloured 4 dazzlers and applied them to the centre of some of the images.

Finally I took a pen round the edge of the card and on the large butterfly, I added crackle glaze, on the 2 smaller ones clear stickles.
